Greg and Annie Keller proudly opened Eagle Caves Pet Resort in August of 2010: As the parents of two K-9 kids and all around animal lovers, the Keller’s saw a real need for a new quality multi-service pet facility in their community of The Dalles, Oregon and vicinity. After much research and planning, then attending and graduating from the Paws Dog Daycare Pet Facility Operations Master Course in Port Charlotte, FL., they were prepared and ready to build and manage their own facility back home in The Dalles!

They built out a brand new state-of-the-art, full service pet resort, featuring indoor single deluxe overnight dog suites and king suites to accommodate up-to three dogs, finished with quality interior materials like ceramic tile floors and recycled plastic wall panels for easy cleaning and sanitizing. The facility is climate controlled and equipped with an automatic ventilation system to remove any stagnant air.

They added a large 4000 sq. ft. secure dog friendly outdoor play yard so dogs can stretch out, sniff, play and interact with each other (where practical) before and after grooming times and during daycare and boarding stays. The sunny play yard is sectioned off to provide for individual play groups. There's plenty of shade and a large covered porch area.

They brought in pre-built luxury “cat condos” from manufacturer Clark Cages and housed them in a secure and soundproof cat room, featuring a large window for the cats to look outside and view birds as they gather at the outdoor feeder. Cat guests are allowed to take turns exploring outside of their condo rooms in the outer “sunshine room” where they can climb the cat trees, use the scratching posts and chase a toy.

They built in a state-of-the-art all breed grooming room capable of thorough yet low impact bathing and drying. They use the “Prima Bath System” (machine) for bathing dogs and cats, the grooming tub and heavy duty grooming table can even handle giant dog breeds.
